Johann Endfelder

Johann Endfelder (also Entfelder ; * 1791 in Schwaz ; † April 9, 1862 ) was an Austrian painter .

Life

Johann Endfelder learned painting together with Josef Arnold the Elder  in the painting and drawing school of Eberhard Zobel in the Fiecht monastery . He was a busy painter and created numerous frescoes for Tyrolean churches, which are stylistically at the transition from Rococo  to Classicism  .
