The church, first mentioned in 1337, was renovated several times and redesigned in baroque style in 1767. The north tower with pointed helmet and coupled sound windows was built around 1400, the single-bay, detached choir with five-sided end and Gothic wall pillars around 1510/1515. On the west side there is a grooved pointed arch portal, on the south wall a fresco of St. Christophorus from approx. 1470. The interior has a barrel cap with stucco and frescoes painted in 1767 by Christoph Anton Mayr and depicting scenes from the life of St. Juliana show. On the north wall there are frescos from around 1470 depicting the Annunciation, the birth of Christ and the adoration of the kings.

A wooden chapel built in 1678 was replaced by a brick building in 1698/99. The central building with an octagonal floor plan with a dome was expanded in 1718 with the addition of a rectangular choir. The dome was replaced by a gable roof. On the rococo altar from 1718 is the miraculous image, a seated Madonna with child.

Cemetery with edging, which was renewed in concrete as part of the expansion of the cemetery in 1990. In the northeast of the cemetery, parts of the old masonry are still preserved.

The church in Vomperbach was built from 1973–1975 according to plans by Ulrich Feßler . The floor plan is a segment of a circle that is closed on two sides in a square. Access is via a wide glass front in the north. The free-standing tower on the east side consists of two concrete slabs with a staircase in between. The interior has a concrete ceiling with a cross-shaped, space-defining girder and a gallery on round columns above the entrance.
