The church was first mentioned in a document in the 14th century. After a fire it was rebuilt around 1500/1510 by Lienhard Plutauer in the late Gothic style and rebuilt after another fire around 1580. In 1740/41 it was baroque and rebuilt. In 1968/69 the baroque nave was demolished and replaced by a new building based on plans by Clemens Holzmeister . The church consists of the modern nave with an octagonal floor plan and the late Gothic two-bay choir and adjacent tower. In the choir there is a fresco of the Assumption of Mary from approx. 1745, in the nave there is a ceiling fresco with the Rose of Jericho by Max Weiler from 1971. The high altar and other furnishings date from the 18th century.

At the site of the cemetery south of the church, which was laid out in 1766 and abandoned in 1965, there is now a small green area with wrought-iron grave crosses from the old cemetery, between a memorial stone with a bronze inscription.

The Widum was probably built in the 18th century, rebuilt in 1936 and the late 1960s, and converted into a parish center in 1998-2000. The two-storey wall construction has a converted wooden attic. On the main facade there is the arched portal, which is accessed via a two-armed, covered staircase, above it in the gable area a balcony. On the garden side there is a balcony and a gable block with support construction.

Mariahilfkapelle from 1847 (or 1849) with an older Mariahilf picture from a previous building, which according to oral tradition is said to have been destroyed by the Zillertal inclinants . The neo-Gothic chapel has a brick, three-sided choir and a wooden porch. The entrance is on the eaves side. A wooden roof turret with a pyramid roof stands on the gable roof, which is covered with shingles. On the gable side there is a round arched window with colored lead glazing and inside an ogival front arch .

The funeral hall on the southern edge of the forest cemetery was built in 1965 according to plans by Eberhard Müller-Thies. The building with a rectangular floor plan with a flat gable roof has an open, pillar-supported vestibule and a cantilevered tower with a conical roof made of natural stone. There is a crucifix by Otto Moroder on the tower . The wall field above the entrance and the east wall are designed with concrete glass windows. The reliefs on the portal are by Elmar Kopp . The interior is provided with a wooden beamed ceiling and a ceramic floor.

The cemetery at Scheulingwald east of the town center was created in 1965 to replace the abandoned old cemetery at the parish church and expanded in 1978. The spacious complex, planned by Alios Nothdurfter, with loose trees and a regular system of paths, is enclosed by a natural stone wall. The main entrance on the west side with a wrought iron gate is flanked by two wrought iron lights. In the south is the funeral hall , in the western area the urn grove integrated into the enclosure. The graves are decorated with wrought iron crosses.

The building was probably built in 1834 and expanded in 1895 and 1906, and in 1921 it was added in block construction . It was used as a primary school until 1967, and since then it has served as a commercial and residential building. The three-storey building with a purlin roof is designed with painted corner blocks as well as balconies and Söllern with carved pillars and decorative cut boards on the parapets. The interiors have been changed significantly compared to the original state.

The municipal office was built in 1929 and restored to its original exterior shape in 2009. The mighty three-storey wall construction with a flat hipped roof has a round bay window over both upper floors on the southern and northern corners of the building. In the central axis there is a round arch portal with beveled walls. The windows on the upper floors are decorated with framing sgraffito paintings from the 1970s. The interior is accessed via a spacious wooden staircase with openwork railings and wall paneling as well as a glass extension from 2009 on the back with a staircase and lift system. On the first floor there is the large-scale, glazed meeting room facing the stairwell.
