Through his granddaughter Maria Regina Imhoff Mitterhart came to the Count Fieger von Hirschberg, who gave him the shape it is today. In the 19th century, after the Fieger family died out in 1805, the Gwerchers ( Gwercherschlössl ) and the Knights of Woertz are the owners. Mitterhart has been run as an inn since 1938.

The fourteen stations of the cross on the way from Fiecht to St. Georgenberg were painted in oil on copper by Hans Andre in 1946 and painted over in an amateurish way at the end of the 1990s. The picture panels were originally attached to trees and were used in 2005 in new concrete shrines designed by Hans Knapp . During the redesign, the pictures were restored in their original form and, where this was no longer possible, they were repainted by Wolfram Köberl . The 12th, 13th and 14th stations are entirely from Andre, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th stations have been completely repainted, and the remaining parts have been added by Köberl.

The graves are stone boxes that had a roof-shaped wooden installation and were covered by a stone mound with an oval, round or square plan. Bronze spirals, knives, bangles, belt hooks and ceramics were found among grave goods.
