Since the place and its wheelworks migrated down the valley over time, because there was more water available for the blast furnaces, it is only a branch church today. On May 7, 1882, the church and a neighboring house burned down. During the reconstruction, the church tower was given a pointed roof instead of the previous onion dome. Four new bells were raised and consecrated on August 11, 1883.

In the oven floor there is a so-called oven sow , which weighs several tons. This is a non-fusible lump of iron and slag that has formed at the end of a mostly six-year “furnace journey” (= operating time). After a trip to the furnace, the furnace was re-bricked and the furnace boar removed, which was a difficult drudgery with the tools of the time. The furnace sow was then buried in the area, including in the stream.

Laufstrasse 60
Location
KG: Vordernberg
The house was built around 1850. It is at the end of the horizontal route of the Laufstrasse (directly at the ski run from the Polster ). The relevant sources do not provide any details about the object. The name suggests that the ore trains of the Dulnig ore conveyor railway were emptied here and the ore was thrown into the Handlalm ore bunker a few meters to the south, from where it was then transported to the next horizontal route via the inclined elevator of the Handlalm brake.
