The three-wing, two-storey complex with a basement and a uniform historical facade was built in place of a former moated castle in 1894 according to plans by Johann Julius Romano Ritter von Rings .

The church was built in the 1730s. In 1758 the presbytery and the tower were renewed. After a fire, the nave, a three-bay hall, was rebuilt in 1768. Most of the furnishings date from the middle and third quarter of the 18th century.
