The originally baroque hall building was built by Josef Koch in 1756/1757, extended in 1898 and expanded into a cross-shaped complex with a round apse and tower in 1936. At the time of construction, the church was a branch of Kirchberg am Wagram and was elevated to a parish church in 1783. |

The late Baroque altar was built at the end of the 18th century and redesigned at the end of the 19th century. The Pietà altarpiece is accompanied by baroque figures depicting a female and a male saint. Baroque candlesticks are also included. |
