A two-storey, hook-shaped building whose diverse building history can be traced back to the beginning of the 12th century. In the main wing there is a Schubert memorial and a museum founded in 1986.

The Hausberg is a medieval complex east of the castle in the castle park. The artificially raised mound of earth is surrounded by a partially filled ring trench. On the plateau a pavilion called "Schubert's composing house" from the 18th century, which was supposedly used by Franz Schubert as a work space around 1820 - today a memorial. On the north side of the hill there is a cellar system with a baroque, pilaster-flanked portal from the 18th century, and to the southwest the Fatima chapel built into the hill, a baroque chapel open with a round arch from the 18th century with a new statue of Fatima from 1979.

The former farm building connects to the castle in the shape of a hook in the south . The elongated building under a monopitch roof has a baroque gable facade, on the ground floor cap vaults from the 18th century. Today the building serves as an inn, the hall has recently been renovated.

Churchyard wall or old cemetery wall with Biedermeier gravestones. The cemetery was closed in 1881. The gravestones are in a very poor condition (as of 2012) and obviously left to decay.

The wayside shrine from the 18th century stands north of Watzendorf above the vineyards. The squat pillar with a broadly grooved cantilever plate and cuboid top has a round arched niche with a popular representation of St. Notburga from Rattenberg .
