List of the Hanseatic ambassadors in France
The Hanseatic cities of Lübeck , Hamburg and Bremen had joint diplomatic representatives from 1689 to 1870 who were accredited by the French government . Originally her title was Agent des Villes Anséatiques (Agent of the Hanseatic Cities ), then Minister- Resident in the 19th century . With the establishment of the empire in 1871, the independent diplomatic representation of the Hanseatic cities in France ended.
