Liu Zhiwei (born August 25, 1988 ) is a Chinese ice hockey goalkeeper who has been playing for the team from Harbin in the Chinese ice hockey league again since 2013 .

Career

Liu Zhiwei began his career as a hockey player on the Harbin amateur team , for which he played in the Chinese ice hockey league. In 2010 he moved to China Dragon , the only Chinese professional team for which he played in the Asia League Ice Hockey . In 2013, he returned to the Harbin amateur team.

International

In the junior area, Liu took part with China in the U20 World Championships in 2007 in Division III and in 2008 in Division II.

The goalkeeper made his debut in the Chinese men's selection at the 2011 World Cup in Division II. Also in 2012 , 2013 , 2014 and 2015 , when he was instrumental in advancing from the B- to the with the best catch rate and the lowest conceded rate per game A group, he played with the team from China in Division II. He also represented his colors at the 2011 Asian Winter Games and qualifying for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
