Literary work

Viitol has published poetry since the late 1980s and debuted with a volume of poetry in 1991. Her poetry is very personal and, according to her own statement, a "sign of the loneliness of the soul". Further volumes of poetry followed at greater intervals (2002, 2009) and in 2014 a volume with stories and novels. In the sober descriptions of everyday life, the critics saw parallels with Maimu Berg and Eeva Park , but also with the irony of Mihkel Mutt or Toomas Vint .
