The Mi 5 is a smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi and was officially presented on February 24, 2016 at the Mobile World Congress 2016. It is the successor to the Mi 4 from 2014. The sales start in China is planned for March 1, 2016. A publication in Europe is not planned to date.

The Mi 5 has a 5.15 inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels . As a system on a chip one comes Snapdragon 820 with four cores of the manufacturer Qualcomm used.
