Liviu Adrian Ganea (born February 23, 1988 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player . The striker has been without a club since summer 2016.
Career
Ganea began his career at Dinamo Bucharest , where he moved up to the first team squad at the beginning of the 2005/06 season. On October 15, 2005, he came in the game against CFR Cluj for his first use in Divizia A (today League 1 ). It was his only use, because he mostly played in the second team, which was in the Divizia B at the time.
Since Ganea only came on a few missions, he moved to the promoted CS Otopeni at the beginning of the 2008/09 season to collect match practice. After the descent of Otopenis, he joined Astra Ploieşti a year later . In summer 2010 he returned to Dinamo Bucharest. He became a regular player, reached the cup final with Dinamo and qualified for the Europa League . In the winter break of 2011/12 he left the autumn champions and moved to CFR Cluj . In his new club he did not get beyond the role of supplementary player, but won the championship in 2012. For the 2013/14 season he was loaned to league rival CS Concordia Chiajna . A year later he returned to Cluj, which immediately transferred him to FC Brașov . With the club he had to relegate at the end of the 2014/15 season and moved to CSMS Iași . After only three appearances, he joined second division FC Academica Clinceni in early 2016 . He has been without a club since summer 2016.
National team
Ganea played his first international match in a tournament in Cyprus against Ukraine on February 8, 2011 when he came on for Sabrin Sburlea in the 68th minute .
