Ljubiša Ristić (born November 13, 1967 in Brčko , Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav volleyball player and Bosnian volleyball coach.

Career

Ljubiša Ristić played volleyball for various Greek clubs in the 1990s . In 1997 he went to Italy and played in Naples and Salerno . In 2001, the outside attacker moved to the German Bundesliga for German champions VfB Friedrichshafen . Here he became German champion in 2002 and won the DVV Cup in 2002 and 2003 . During his time in Germany he was represented in the rankings of German volleyball and in 2002 was voted "Most Valuable Player". From 2003 to 2006 Ristić played again in Italy with Volley Forlì and Volley Corigliano .

Ljubiša Ristić played 200 times in the Yugoslav national team . Today he is the coach of the Bosnian club Jedinstvo Brčko and the junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina .
