The Beograd-class was a class of three destroyers in the Royal Yugoslav Navy .
After purchasing the large destroyer Dubrovnik , the Yugoslav Ministry of the Navy decided to purchase smaller types of destroyers that could be built in local shipyards. The plans were ordered from the French shipyard A & Ch de la Loire in Nantes , where the first ship was built. The second ship was built in Kraljevica and the third in Split in today's Croatia .
