Lyubov Vladimirovna Galkina ( Russian Любовь Владимировна Галкина ; born March 15, 1973 in Alapayevsk ) is a Russian sports shooter in the air rifle discipline .

Galkina lives in Moscow . She has been successful in the elite sector since 2000. At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney , she was fourth with the air rifle over 10 meters. The 2004 Summer Olympic Games of Athens were particularly successful for the Russian. In the small caliber three-position battle she won the gold medal, with the air rifle over 10 meters she won silver behind Du Li . In Beijing she took in 2008 for the third time in the Olympic Games, winning over 10 meters with the air rifle behind Kateřina Emmons again Silver and her third Olympic medal.

At the 2006 World Championships in Zagreb , Galkina won gold in the small-bore three-position battle. At the European Championships in Belgrade in 2005, the Russian was sixth in a three-position fight and over 10 meters with the air rifle she won silver at the EM in Tallinn . Three years later she won the title with the air rifle in Winterthur . Galkina achieved the best World Cup results in 2004 in Bangkok and in 2006 in Granada . In the three-position battle, she won the respective events at the World Cup finals.
