Wu Xiaoxuan ( Chinese  吴小 旋 , Pinyin Wú Xiǎoxuán ; born January 26, 1958 in Hangzhou ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .

successes

Wu Xiaoxuan was Asian champion with the air rifle in Manila in 1980 and won the gold medal with it at the Asian Games in New Delhi in 1982, both in the individual and in the team competition. The following year, she was also runner- up in the air rifle in Innsbruck . Wu took part in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where she competed with the air rifle and the small bore rifle in three-position combat. In the competition with the air rifle she scored 389 points, which she won the bronze medal behind Pat Spurgin and Edith Gufler . She finished the three-position fight with 581 points, the best shooting result of all participants, in first place and thus became Olympic champion ahead of Ulrike Holmer and Wanda Jewell .
