Llave Mayu is a town in the Cochabamba department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Llave Mayu is a newly developed settlement area in the northern part of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Arbieto in the province of Esteban Arce on the 490 km² fertile plateau of the Valle Alto . The settlement is being built at an altitude of 2,727  m a few kilometers north of the La Angostura reservoir , in direct connection to the south-eastern suburbs of the metropolis of Cochabamba .

Llave Mayu is located in the transition area between the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
