Lola Dewaere , b. Lola Bourdeaux , (born December 4, 1979 in Boulogne-Billancourt ) is a French actress .

Life

Dewaere was born in Boulogne-Billancourt as the daughter of the actor Patrick Dewaere . Her father took his own life when Dewaere was two years old. She grew up with her maternal grandparents in the Maine-et-Loire department . Her childhood and youth were difficult; It was only at the age of 16 that she began to deal with her father's life and work. In 1997 she enrolled in the private drama school Cours Florent and began an acting training, which she had to give up after a short time due to a serious traffic accident. After several years in which she worked as a journalist and real estate agent, she devoted herself again to acting in 2007.

Her first small film role was in Alexandre Moix 's short film Curriculum in 2007 . Myriam Boyer cast her in the 2010 television film You've Got Life Before You in a supporting role. At the same time, Dewaere also played theater and was seen in 2010 at the Paris Theater Le Temple. In the surprise hit Pretty Biggest Friends by Charlotte de Turckheim in 2012, Dewaere was finally seen in the lead role of the slightly overweight Nina who wants to lose weight.
