Lone Dybdal

Lone Dybdal (born November 12, 1955 ) is a former Danish marathon runner .

In 1978 she set the current course record at the Husum Winter Marathon with 2:51:54 h and came 80th at the World Cross Country Championships in Glasgow .

In 1980 she won again in Husum and the Copenhagen Marathon . In 1983 she came 23rd in the London Marathon and won in Copenhagen. A 38th place at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki was followed by a 23rd place at the New York City Marathon .

The following year she won the Kuala Lumpur Marathon , came 86th at the 1984 World Cross Country Championships in East Rutherford, came seventh at the Boston Marathon and set her personal best in London with 2:39:39 h in tenth. When the International Marathon of Seoul , she was fifth and the Tokyo International Women's Marathon ninth.

In 1985 she defended her title in Kuala Lumpur, won for the third time in Copenhagen and finished her career with a 15th place in Tokyo.
