Longest lap

The Longest round , English longest lap is a competition in track cycling .

A race in this format was first held in 2005 as a Marymoor Crawl at the Marymoor Grand Prix in Redmond, Washington . In 2014 the British Revolution Series added this race to its program under the name Longest Lap .

On the longest lap , the drivers set off on a signal in the target curve. Until the race has been released for one or two laps, they are not allowed to cross the start line, hold on to anything or touch the ground with one foot, which leads to attempts to stand .
