The Loopebach is a 7.7 km long orographic left tributary of the Agger in Engelskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

The stream rises about 800 m northwest of Drabenderhöhe near Verr at an altitude of 297  m above sea level. NN . From here it flows in a pronounced meandering manner through the naturally preserved Loopebach valley in a north-westerly direction. After 6.9 km, the Loopebach flows into the Loope district of Engelskirchen at 114  m above sea level , without touching any other town . NN in the Agger. On its way it overcomes a height difference of 183 m, which corresponds to a mean bottom slope of 25.5 ‰.

The Loopebach lies in a spacious, unpopulated forest area around the Schimmelhau ( 357.3  m above sea level ), Hundskopf ( 314  m above sea level ) and Dönselberg ( 357.7  m above sea level ). This forest area is not cut up by traffic routes. The stream is accompanied by well-developed alder-ash alluvial forests.

The Loopebach should not be confused with the Loper Bach , a small river which rises on the western edge of the former Lope district of Gummersbach (today part of the Strombach ) and which finally takes up the longer Lambach in Engelskirchen - Oesinghausen .
