Lorenzo Ariaudo (born June 11, 1989 in Turin , Italy ) is an Italian football player . He is a defender and is under contract with Frosinone Calcio .
Career
In the club
Lorenzo Ariaudo has been under contract with Juventus Turin since 1998, where he currently plays for the Primavera in the highest age group of youth teams. In the 2005/06 season he won the Italian championship with Juventus in the Allievi Nazionali age group , comparable to the B-youth in Germany. In 2007 he was part of the team that won the Supercoppa Italiana Primavera . In 2009 Ariaudo won the prestigious Coppa Carnevale in Viareggio with the Primavera .
Ariaudo made his debut in the senior team of the old lady on August 26, 2008, when he came on for Nicola Legrottaglie in the 82nd minute in the 1-1 draw in the Champions League qualifying game at Artmedia Bratislava . In Serie A , the defender made his debut on January 18, 2009 in a 1-1 away game at Lazio Rome , when he was called up from the start by his coach Claudio Ranieri because of many injured regulars .
In the winter break of the 2009/10 season , Ariaudo was loaned to Serie A rivals Cagliari Calcio for the remainder of the season after he had not played a single game in the first half of the season under Ciro Ferrara . The Sardinians were also given a purchase option.
In June 2010, Cagliari Calcio announced the purchase of half of Ariaudo's transfer rights and thus the further obligation of the defender. In January 2011, Cagliari sold striker Alessandro Matri to Juventus for € 15.5 million and received the second half of Ariaudo's transfer rights.
In 2014 Ariaudo switched to US Sassuolo Calcio . It was also awarded to CFC Genoa and FC Empoli . In the summer of 2016, Ariaudo switched to Frosinone Calcio .
In the national team
On March 25, 2009, Lorenzo Ariaudo, under coach Pierluigi Casiraghi, made his debut in the Italian U-21 national team against Austria and scored a goal straight away.
