action
Paul Preedy witnessed his friend being raped by two other boys as a teenager. Several years later, his younger son drowns in the pool. A whole year later there is a class reunion to which only Preedy and the two former rapists were invited. A little later, Preedy learns from the policeman Frank Skoufaris that the two were murdered. At first he is suspected by the investigator, but when it becomes clear that he is not the suspect, he is quickly awarded help.
A mysterious woman tries to seduce Preedy and pretends to help him. The older (and only) son Preedy is kidnapped, whereupon the perpetrator is searched for by Preedy and a special unit. Preedy finds out through a phone call in his apartment, accompanied by a special unit, that this mysterious woman is behind the crime and is holding his son hostage. When the tape recordings that were made during the conversation are listened to again, they recognize the noises of a tram. This trail led to a clue through which it was ultimately found. When the woman noticed a gun used by the officer as she got off the tram, she drew a gun and shot him down. The two ran down to the subway station when Preedy hid behind the tracks unnoticed and Frank tried to calm the woman down. He put down his gun, but she shot him. When she was about to fire the second shot, she was surprised and prevented by Preedy, who also knocked him down. He grabbed them and they collapsed onto the tracks as the subway approached at high speed. However, he managed to save himself in time while the woman was hit by the subway.
