Lothar Reinhard

Lothar Reinhard (born July 26, 1938 in Schönwald ( Gleiwitz district )) is an SPD politician and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Professional

After attending elementary schools in Gleiwitz and Hanover , Lothar Reinhard completed an apprenticeship in lathe operator in a precision factory in Hanover. From 1961 on, he worked for a statutory accident insurance provider ( employers' liability insurance association ). He passed the 1st and 2nd administrative examinations and spent three years studying at the Administration and Business Academy in Stade . He then rose to become the office manager of the legal department, and finally to the main clerk in the accident department of the employers' liability insurance association. In addition, from October 1995 he worked as a trainer (specialist teacher) for prospective employees.

politics

Reinhard joined the SPD in 1964. In addition to exercising various internal party functions, he was a member of the Billstedt - Horn local committee from 1967 to 1976 .

1974 Lothar Reinhard moved in as a successor in the Hamburg citizenship. (According to the Hamburg constitution, senators have to suspend their mandate during their term of office. During this time they are represented by a so-called substitute .) Reinhard worked, with several interruptions, until 1982, mainly on the health committee and the sports committee. In June 1977, together with Wulf Damkowski , Jan Ehlers , Bodo Fischer , Harro Frank , Hans-Jürgen Grambow , Helga von Hoffmann , Frauke Martin , Ortwin Runde and Bodo Schümann, he was part of a group of ten SPD members of parliament who were involved in Exclusion of the Juso chairman Klaus Uwe Benneter in a letter to the party chairman Willy Brandt demanded that this prevent party regulatory proceedings against 56 Hamburg SPD members who had shown solidarity with Benneter.
