Louis Henri Maillard (born February 20, 1838 in Vevey ; † April 6, 1923 there ) was a Swiss architect .

Live and act

Maillard studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Polytechnic and then at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Around 1865 he founded a studio in Vevey, in which he also worked with Robert Convert . At that time he benefited from the general upswing in Montreux and the founding of many climatic health resorts in Vaud, his extensive work mainly consists of hotel and residential buildings.
