Saint-Luc (today officially written as St-Luc ) is a parish of the Deanery of Sierre and a civic parish with a civic council of the district of Sierre and was a political municipality in the Val d'Anniviers of the canton of Valais in Switzerland until December 31, 2008 .
Community merger
On January 1, 2009, Saint-Luc merged with the other five municipalities in the valley ( Ayer , Chandolin , Grimentz , Saint-Jean and Vissoie ) to form the municipality of Anniviers .
The Niouc exclave above the industrial site Chippis also belonged to the community .
Saint-Luc shares a ski area with Chandolin.
