Veyras is a political municipality and a civic parish with a civic council in the district of Sierre and a parish of the dean's office in Sierre in the French-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland .

geography

Veyras is located in the vineyards on the northern slope of the Rhone Valley, a few kilometers north of Siders / Sierre . The municipality consists of the village of Veyras and the hamlet of Muzot. The latter was built in the second half of the 20th century on the remains of a medieval desert. Neighboring municipalities are Miège in the north , Sierre in the east and south and Venthône in the west .
