Louis Letsch
Louis Letsch actually, Ludwig Andreas Letsch (* 19th August 1856 in Wolfurt , Vorarlberg , † 27. November 1940 in Strasbourg ) was a in France active Austrian painters .
He studied painting at Gebhard Flatz in Bregenz , from 1878 he was in Paris of history and genre painter student Tony Robert-Fleury and the Ecole de Paris academique . From 1889 he lived in Mulhouse in Alsace , where he founded the artist group Palette , and from 1920 he lived in Strasbourg . Louis Letsch worked as a landscape, still life and flower painter, but he is best known for his flower still lifes.
