Louise Victoire d'Orléans
Louise Victoire d'Orléans , full name Louise Victoire Marie Amelie Sophie d'Orléans , (born July 19, 1869 Teddington (now London ), † February 4, 1952 in Munich ) was a member of the House of Orléans .
Life
Louise Victoire was the daughter of Ferdinand d'Orléans , Duke of Alençon and his wife Sophie Charlotte in Bavaria , the youngest daughter of Duke Max Joseph in Bavaria and Ludovika of Bavaria . In 1891 she married her second cousin, Prince Alfons of Bavaria , son of Adalbert of Bavaria and his wife, the Infanta Amalia del Pilar of Spain, at Nymphenburg Palace . Alfons was initially supposed to marry Louise Victoires cousin Marie Valerie of Austria , but a first meeting between the two turned out to be so boring that there was no wedding.
From the marriage between Louise Victoire and Alfons:
- Joseph Clemens (1902–1990), art historian
- Elisabeth Maria Anna (1913-2005)
- ⚭ 1939 Franz Josef von Kageneck (1915–1941)
- ⚭ 1944–1953 Ernst Küstner (* 1920)
