Luís Vaz Rodrigues

Luís Vaz Rodrigues

Luís Vaz Rodrigues (* around 1961 ; † September 14, 2016 in Dili , East Timor ) was a politician from East Timor. Most recently he was a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party .

In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 , Rodrigues ran unsuccessfully to rank 18 of the UDT and coordinated the election campaign in Cova Lima for the party .

In the parliamentary elections in 2012 , his name appeared in fourth place on the electoral list of the PDP , which did not get a single place in the national parliament of East Timor . After the election, however, Rodrigues was appointed as the representative of the CNRT in the Fifth East Timor government as State Secretary for Public Works (SEOP). He held the office until the VI. Government 2015.

Rodrigues died in 2016 at the age of 55 in the Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares (HNGV).
