Luca Ermenegildo Pasetto
Luca Ermenegildo Pasetto OFMCap (born September 17, 1871 in Padua , Italy , † January 22, 1954 in Venice ) was an Italian religious priest and curial archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .
Life
Luca Ermenegildo Pasetto joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and received on August 10, 1896, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 21, 1921, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . as titular bishop of Geras . The Cardinal Bishop of Albano , Gennaro Granito Pignatelli di Belmonte , donated him episcopal ordination on November 27 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Treviso , Andrea Giacinto Bonaventura Longhin OFMCap, and the Bishop of Comacchio , Gherardo Sante Menegazzi, OFMCap. On December 20, 1935, Pope Pius XI appointed him . as secretary of the Congregation for Religious Affairs . Luca Ermenegildo Pasetto became Titular Archbishop of Iconium on September 22, 1935 .
On November 11, 1950, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Latin titular patriarch of Alexandria .
He retired to Venice, where he died at the age of 82.
