Titular diocese of Geras
The Diocese of Geras ( Italian : Diocesi di Gera , Latin Dioecesis Geritana seu Gerrensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a former diocese that was located in the ancient city of Gerrha in the Roman province of Aegyptus and in late antiquity Aegyptus Herculea and Augustamnica in Upper Egypt . It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Pelusium .
