Luca Orsini Baroni (born May 10, 1871 in Fornacette , † November 27, 1948 in Rome ) was an Italian diplomat .

Life

Luca Orsini Baroni was the son of Arianna Giuli and Francesco Orsini. He married Lili Gutmann, daughter of Sophie Magnus (* 1852, † 1915) and Eugen Gutmann .

He studied law , was awarded a doctorate in law , entered the foreign service, became an attaché in Berlin in 1897 and lived at Bernburger Strasse 19. From 1911 to 1913 he was consul general in Budapest , then in 1924 envoy in Brussels . Orsini was envoy in Ankara from November 3, 1925 to 1929 . From November 14, 1929 to August 25, 1932 he was ambassador to Berlin. In 1932 he was retired and in 1933 Victor Emanuel III appointed him . in his Senate .
