Lucas Nogueira Garcez

Lucas Nogueira Garcez (born December 9, 1913 in São Paulo ; † May 11, 1982 ibid) was a Brazilian engineer and politician (Partido Social Progressista).

He studied civil engineering at the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo , where he later taught as a professor. From January 1951 to January 1955 he was governor of the state of São Paulo .

He is the author of over 50 works. In 1968 he was awarded the Prêmio Emorien Engenheiro do Ano.
