The Lucas Oil 200 is a car race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series that has been held since 2000 and takes place at Dover International Speedway in Dover , Delaware . The race goes over a distance of 200 miles (321.87 kilometers), which corresponds to 200 laps. The race distance has not changed since the first edition. MBNA sponsored this race from the first edition in 2000 to 2005, but changed the name of the race several times. The American Automobile Association , or AAA for short, has been the main sponsor of the race since 2006 .
Twice in history, drivers achieved their first Camping World Truck Series victory in this race. The first to do so was Chad Chaffin , who led 58 laps in the 2004 race and ended up with Rick Crawford and Hank Parker Jr. referred to the places. In 2008, the former Formula 1 racing driver Scott Speed also managed to celebrate his first victory in this race and that in only his sixth race in the series.
