Luceafărul Oradea is a Romanian football club from Oradea in Bihor County , whose team plays in League II . The home games are played in the Stadionul Luceafărul in Sânmartin .
history
The club was founded in 2000 on the initiative of parents whose children had no future at Bihor Oradea FC . Under the president Gavrilă Ghilea , former prefect of Bihor county and president of FC Bihor Oradea, the club grew. The team also improved step by step and the youth development became a professional game company.
After a merger with the club Lotus Băile Felix , the club played from the 2007/08 season under the name CS Luceafărul Lotus Băile in League III and although managed under coach Lucian Ciscan promotion to League II, but then had to due to financial Withdraw problems from gaming operations. The club disbanded in summer 2008.
Thereupon a group of entrepreneurs from Bacau founded the association Știința Bacău and took over the vacated place in the League II. In February 2009 the two entrepreneurs Giani Nedelcu and Mircea Crainiciuc founded the association CS Luceafărul Lotus Băile , which was held during the current season 2008 / 09 took over the game operations of Știința Bacău and their placement, with the current season being played under the name Știinăa Bacău . On June 3, 2009 Mircea Crainiciuc announced that the club is withdrawing from the game due to financial problems. As a result, the last three championship games not yet completed were each rated as a 3-0 defeat and a forced relegation to League III was determined. However, a dissolution could be avoided.
After two seasons in League III, the club managed to return to League II in the 2010/11 season. Călin Moldovan was the new coach at the beginning of the 2011/12 season, but he was released on December 9, 2011. He was replaced by Leontin Grozavu. Luceafărul finished the season in sixth and was tenth in League II in 2012/13. On July 10, 2013, Luceafărul announced the voluntary withdrawal from League II and signed up for the 2013/14 season in League IV .
In the 2014/15 season, the club was first in League IV and thus rose to League III. Then the first to return to League II in the following season.
