The Luciąża is a left tributary of the Pilica in the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the river system of the Vistula .
geography
Luciąża, popular with kayakers, has its source between Radomsko and Przedbórz in the Wzgórza Radomszczańskie mesoregion near the village of Rzejowice in the Kodrąb municipality near Droga krajowa 42 . From there it flows generally north through the mesoregion of the Rownina Piotrkowska , flows through the reservoir Zalew Cieszanowicka, takes up the Prudka coming from the left and flows after a run of 48.7 or 54.2 kilometers below the town of Sulejów near the village Przygłów into the Pilica, which is dammed up here to form the Zalew Sulejowski reservoir. The catchment area is given as 766 km².
