Lucia Stefanel (born September 21, 1963 in Italy ) is a German actress of Italian origin.

Life

Stefanel completed her acting training from 1987 to 1990 at the Berlin Theater School Meyer / Lehmann, at the Ernst Busch Academy of Theater Arts and at the Academy of Film Art in Potsdam / Babelsberg .

She had various theater engagements in Berlin, a. a. at the Berliner Compagnie (season 1990/91, as Polin Miriam Walanjuk in Die Aussiedlerin ), at the Neukölln Opera (1991), with the independent theater company of the Zan Pollo-Theater (season 1992/93, in Der Waldschrat , Graf Öderland and Erben ) and at the Stükke Theater (1993, in Death, Love, Transfiguration by Ulrich Woelk ).

After her participation in the music film Die Stadt (1983), the focus of which was u. a. the musician Nick Cave stood, Stefanel worked since the beginning / middle of the 1990s in movies, TV films and TV series. She almost exclusively embodied southern characters, often with a migration background . On German television she initially had episode roles a. a. in the television series Wolffs Revier (1993; 1994) and Lindenstrasse (1995). In 1997 she had a supporting role as the Italian Anna Mancotti in the television film Winterkind by Margarethe von Trotta . In 2002, she played a supporting role as a ticket seller in Dominik Graf's film Der Felsen .

In 2005 she had a recurring series role as Filomena Fabri, the ex-wife of the ice cream parlor owner Pino Fabri and stepmother of the student Silvio, in the children's series Schloss Einstein . She played the role of the Italian and café owner Ms. Donatelli in the Munich crime scene crime thriller The Lost Child (first broadcast: November 2006). In the 2009 telenovela Anna and Love , she was the fortune teller Consuela Greco, the aunt of the character Paloma Greco, in episodes 99 to 114.

Stefanel also had episode roles a. a. in the series Adelheid and her murderers (2000; as Anna, widow of the murdered Italian restaurant owner Franco), Edel and Starck (2002; as prostitute Rosi), in Im Visier der Zielfahnder (2002), Ein Fall für Zwei (2005), and Flemming (2009).

In May 2015 she was seen in the TV film Zwei Esel auf Sardinien in the ZDF “Herzkino” series . She played the Italian policewoman and former Miss Sardinia 1992, Gabriella Cardinale . In the TV series Der Zürich-Krimi , Stefanel had a supporting role as cleaning lady Carlotta, who is interviewed as a witness, in the fourth film in the series Borchert and the Power of Habit (first broadcast: February 2018).

Stefanel is a state-certified speech therapist . In addition to her acting and speaking work, she has been working as a speech therapist in Berlin-Schöneberg and Berlin-Wilmersdorf since 2007 with a focus on language development disorders, dyslexia , myofunction, aphasia and dysarthria .

Stefanel lives in Berlin .
