Lucy Fricke
Lucy Fricke (* 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German author .
Life
Before she studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig , Fricke worked on numerous cinema and television films, initially as an assistant editor , but mostly as script / continuity , including for the films " Kurz und painless " and " Absolute Giganten " . There she published the anthology Tippgemeinschaft and organized the “International Congress for Literary Writing”. Her first novel, Thirst Is Worse Than Homesick , was published in 2007 by Piper Verlag. In 2010 she moved to Rowohlt Verlag with the second novel, I brought friends with me . In addition to writing, Lucy Fricke has been organizing the " HAM.LIT - Long Night of Young Literature and Music" since 2010 . in Hamburg. She is also a member of the PEN Center Germany , is a founding member of the Kook Association, an independent network of artists, and a member of the juries for the Friedrich-Luft-Preis and the Karl-Heinz-Zillmer-Verlegerpreis.
Fricke lives in Berlin .
