On January 16, 1357 he married Johanna von Eu (Jeanne d'Eu), mistress of Château-Chinon , Dracy , Orover , Les Places , Beauche , Toussy , Huran and Hormes († July 6, 1389 in Sens ), daughter of Raoul I. de Brienne , Count of Eu , Constable of France , and widow of Gautier VI. de Brienne , Duke of Athens , Connétable of France (both from the House of Brienne ). The marriage remained childless.
