Ludwig Berger (politician)

Ludwig Berger (born May 29, 1900 in Abensberg ; † March 1, 1971 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ). From 1946 to 1950 he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament .

Life

Berger completed an apprenticeship as a tailor from 1913 to 1916 and was then stationed with the Imperial Navy in Wilhelmshaven . After the end of the war he attended the tailoring school in Hanover and worked as a tailor in Nuremberg, Munich and Koblenz. In 1929 he took over his parents' property and business. He was drafted into military service during World War II and returned from American captivity in 1945. He then became First Mayor of Abensberg and was elected to the district council and district administrator in 1946. He was also a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from December 1, 1946 to November 26, 1950. He was elected in the constituency of Niederbayern / Oberpfalz and was a member of the committee for the rules of procedure.
