Ludwig Hagenauer

Ludwig Hagenauer (born March 8, 1883 in Retzbach ; † July 20, 1949 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Hagenauer studied law and political science at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 1908 to 1911 . He received his PhD in 1912 for Dr. jur. and was admitted to the bar in the same year. He then worked as a lawyer in Würzburg . From 1919 to 1945 he worked as a public prosecutor and judge.

After the end of the war, Hagenauer was acting vice-president of the Munich police department from May to September 1945 and then acting president of the Munich regional court . From December 1945 to January 1945 he served as attorney general at the Munich Higher Regional Court .

Political party

Hagenauer was a member of the BVP from 1918 to 1933 . He joined the CSU in 1945 and was a member of the party's provisional state committee in 1945/46. From 1947 to 1949 he was a member of the CSU state executive.

Public offices

Hagenauer served as State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice from January 10 to July 15, 1947. He was then appointed Minister of State for Special Tasks by Prime Minister Hans Ehard . He held this office until his death.
