Ludwig Heydenreich (politician, 1822)

Ludwig Heydenreich (born September 24, 1822 in Speyer ; † January 11, 1889 there ) was a German lawyer and member of the Reichstag .

Heydenreich studied law in Heidelberg and Munich from 1840 to 1844 . In 1848/49 he took part in the German Revolution , went into exile and was sentenced to death in his absence. Returning to his hometown in 1853, he was again involved in many ways. From 1858 he was a member of the city council. With his friend Jakob Heinrich Lützel he founded the Palatinate Singers' Association in 1860.

In the Reichstag election in 1871 , he won the constituency Pfalz 1 (Speyer- Frankenthal ) for the National Liberal Party , and he held this mandate until 1874.
