Ludwig Posorski

Ludwig Posorski (born October 28, 1949 in Meitzendorf ) is a former German football player. In the top division of GDR football , the Oberliga , he played for the army sports community Vorwärts Stralsund .

Athletic career

Posorski's football career began in his native BSG Traktor in Meitzendorf , a rural community northwest of Magdeburg . At the age of 14 he was delegated to the regional sports center, SC Aufbau Magdeburg. As a striker of the junior team of 1. FC Magdeburg , which has since been spun off from SC Aufbau , he drew the attention of those responsible for the GDR junior national team , so that on November 6, 1966 he played his first of a total of five international junior matches. With the U-18 of the DFV , he took part in May 1967 in Turkey in the UEFA youth tournament, the unofficial European championship in this age group.

After he was authorized to play for the men's area in 1967, he played for the second team of the FCM in the third-class district league Magdeburg . With her he rose to the GDR league in 1969, played 24 of the 30 point games there in the 1969/70 season and was the top scorer of his team with nine goals. This was not up to the requirements of the second division and rose after disastrous performances with only four wins and a goal difference of 30:72 after only one year.

In 1971 Posorski undertook three years of military service and was assigned to the Vorwärts Stralsund Army Sports Association . The promoted to the GDR league put him on November 6, 1971 in the game against Sachsenring Zwickau (2-1) for the first time. In the following 17 league games in Stralsund, Posorski was used as a striker in another 14 matches and scored four goals. At the end of the season forward Stralsund had to relegate bottom of the table in the GDR league, where Posorski played until the summer of 1974.

After his discharge from military service, Posorski joined the GDR league club Lok Stendal at the beginning of the 1974/75 season . In 1977 he experienced a descent for the third time in his career, as Stendal had to start the course in the district league Magdeburg. With Posorski, thanks to his 22 goals, he immediately rose again and then stabilized in the GDR league. By the end of 1981/82, Posorski was part of the locomotive crew. In the summer of 1982 he said goodbye to competitive sports at the age of 32.

Further career

The trained electrician then started a long career as a football coach. For many years Posorski trained the FSV Lok Altmark Stendal, the successor club to his former place of work, until he was replaced by Klaus Urbanczyk at the end of 1994 . He then became an employee of the Football Association of Saxony-Anhalt, which employed him as head of the sports school training department and head of the Magdeburg sports high school and also entrusted him with training for the junior state selections.
