Ludwig Stock (politician)

Ludwig Stock (* around 1790 in the Hanover area ; † July 1, 1843 in Borbeck ) was a German politician and mayor of the former Borbeck mayor's office in what is now the city of Essen .

Live and act

Ludwig Stock was originally a district copyist at the Rheinberg district office . In March 1822 he became an alderman of the mayor's office in Ossenberg in the Rheinberg district .

Stock was appointed mayor of the Prussian mayor's office in Borbeck within the Essen district on August 18, 1823 . In 1840 he was replaced in this office by Anton Hermann Péan.

In 1825 he was his first marriage to the widow of the landowner Vollrath at Haus Bermen on Lipperheidenbaum, a former knight's seat in what is now the city of Oberhausen . He carried out his official business from his place of residence there.
