Ludwig Svennerstål

Ludwig Svennerstål (born August 24, 1990 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish eventing rider .

Career

At the age of six he began to ride, and when he was eight he and sister Ellen had their first pony. He got his first horse when he was 10 years old.

In 2012 he rode in London at his first Olympic Games . There he finished fourth with the team and rode to 20th place in the individual. Four years later he was part of the Swedish Olympic team. In 2013 he won the team silver medal at the European Championships in Malmö with Shamwari as part of the Swedish team .

He has lived in Harrogate, England, from 2009 and trained with Christopher Bartle . Five years later he switched to Mark Todd's facility .

Private

His mother and sister Ellen are also active in sports.
