Ludwig von Pfeiffer

Ludwig Pfeiffer , from 1844 by Pfeiffer , (born April 25, 1790 in Steinheim an der Murr ; † July 28, 1854 in Cannstatt ) was a Württemberg governor .

Life and work

The son of the pastor and future dean of Kirchheim unter Teck began his professional career from 1809 to 1810 as a municipal writing substitute in Hornberg . From 1811 to 1822 Ludwig Pfeiffer was senior actuary in Marbach am Neckar and Leonberg . From 1822 to 1824 he moved to the Oberamt Oberndorf as Oberamts Verweser , and from 1824 to 1837 he was then Oberamtmann there. In 1837 Pfeiffer became a senior administrator in Nürtingen , where he remained until his retirement in 1854.

Honors, ennobling

Ludwig von Pfeiffer was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown in 1844 , which was associated with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ).
