Luigi Antonio Cantafora
Luigi Antonio Cantafora (born April 10, 1943 in Scandale , Province of Crotone , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Lamezia Terme .
Life
Luigi Antonio Cantafora received on 19 July 1969 by the Bishop of Crotone, Pietro Raimondi , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 24, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Lamezia Terme. The Apostolic Nuncio in Italy, Archbishop Paolo Romeo , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Crotone-Santa Severina , Andrea Mugione , and the Bishop Emeritus of Lamezia Terme, Vincenzo Rimedio . The inauguration took place on April 2, 2004.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on May 3, 2019.
