Luis Ángel Landín (born July 23, 1985 in Zamora , Michoacán ) is a Mexican football player on the position of the striker .

Life

society

For his first appearance in the Mexican Primera División Landín came on August 22, 2004 in a home game of his CF Pachuca against Chivas Guadalajara (1: 1), in which he came on in the 72nd minute for Raúl Mariscal. While he only made four appearances in his first season in 2004/05 , a year later he became a regular for the Tuzos, with whom he won two national and international titles in 2006 and 2007.

Landín scored his first first division goal on September 11, 2005 in a home game against the Jaguares , when he only came into play in the 84th minute for Juan Carlos Cacho and scored a minute later for his team to score 5-1.

With his use against the Dorados (2-1) on October 2, 2005 began a series of forty consecutive games that Landín completed in the Primera División. The Clausura 2006 championship title fell into this epoch, as did his triple goal scoring in the 5-0 victory at the Tecos on February 10, 2006.

His only expulsion in the Mexican league so far, Landín had to accept on January 20, 2007 at the opening match for Clausura 2007 at his later club Cruz Azul (2: 3). At the end of the series was his second league title and the move to Monarca's Morelia . Since then, Landín has not played for a club for more than twelve months and in the 2009/10 season he completed a guest appearance in Major League Soccer in the service of Houston Dynamo . He is currently under contract with Querétaro FC .

National team

Landín made his debut in the dress of the Mexican national team on March 1, 2006 in a 1-0 win over Ghana. His last international appearance so far was on September 12, 2007 when he lost 3-1 to Brazil. The highlight of his international career was taking part in the 2007 Copa America , where he played in the games against Chile (0-0) and Uruguay (3-1).
